Hey there people. My soon to be 12yo son and I are about to go on the joint venture of our first snake (his snake in theory, me providing finance and back up). The guys at Gully Reptile Centa have been fantastic with information and help and are currently sorting out the enclosure which will house a young bredli to be purchased once enclosure is ready

I breed parrots and do behaviour work with these feathered fiends so the snake thing will be different but something I look forward to.

Hope to learn more and exchange pics etc with you all.

Hi Mezzabird and welcome
My son started with one python at 11, he is 15 (on Saturday) and WE have 8 now, plus a pair of Smooth Knob Tailed Geckos.
Good luck stopping at 1 :lol:

what birds do you breed? we have a cinnamon green cheek conure named ollie, a sun conure named rosette, and two blue quakers, biscuit and ruffy

Thanks for the welcome. I breed suns, green cheeks, Quakers and hoping for long billed corella and galah babes this year. I also breed cockatiels specialising in white face and pastel face. I've got a gang gang hen coming hopefully next week who will be that start of a future little colony. Pet Aviary birds are kirri, sulpher and Molly the major Mitchell. We also have 4 inside pet birds. Bogey the yellow crowned amazon, Merlin the eclectus, arora the galah and Arthur the African
grey. Certainly a handful at times but all good.
