So probably totally boring to most but we have our first lot of chook eggs in the incubator and they are rocking back and forth right now. The anticpation now is killing me as I can't wait to see what colours they turn out to be (Araucanas, the ones that lay blue/green eggs)
 
We are a bit emotionally invested as they were under a broody but she went bad with a week to go and we had to set up a DIY incubator in the space of a few hours, steal her eggs and then my fab husband sat up half the night making minute adjustments to the thermostat trying to get it stable enough to keep them alive, it's been a rollercoaster week :)
 
Awesome! I used to breed chooks in school, old English. Would love the opportunity to get back into it.
