I saw the central neteds on the site and it bought me to ask this question. How long do they live in captivity for? I have heard 2 years 4 and six.Is there someone out there that really does know? :?

i think 4 or 5 years thats what i have been told .........

Hi Lurk,

I believe between 3 and 4 years is as long as most Ctenophorus sp. will live in the wild. In captivity, if kept under thr right conditions, they can live substantially longer. We've had Central Netteds live up to 9-10 years old, although average age would probably be closer to around 6-7.

Thanks Macca it has had me a bit baffled for a while. Are you able to tell me what you feed yours? and what temps you have for them?

Earthling they tend to be a bit more flighty than beardies, generally a look don't touch species although one of mine got quite tame, and they would all hand feed.
