I'm just wondering if it would pose a health problem for snakes to ingest a small amount of aspen chips when feeding? I recently switched them over to this and love it, but it's not really time efficient to remove 30+ snakes from their enclosures at feed time. The chips are quite fine, maybe 5mm x 3mm at the largest.

I have 3 of mine on Aspen chips and although its not a regular occurance, I have observed them ingesting a few (particularly my Jungle who drags her rat through water) and have not seen them suffer any ill effects. I can imagine it may pose an issue if it occurs during every feed, but once in a while shouldn't do any harm
