on th dec website it says "the department does not support native animal keepers who breed between animals of different species"

and i heard of a case were a bloke got into trouble for cross breeding pythons.

so my question is are we able to cross breed lets say a coastal x diamond
or darwin x coastal or not?

i have not intention of cross breeding was just interested in knowing.

Yes it's legal in NSW. The guy you're thinking of is probably the one in SA.
Also your examples aren't different species so pretty sure it wouldn't be illegal even in the states where hybridising is

ok thanks, its just i wasn't sure. and i notice alot of people are agaist cross breeding even if it is the same species.

Darwin and coastals are both carpet pythons so in this instance you'd be fine (If the laws did infact concern you)
