i relocated one almost exactly the same about 3 weeks ago in cairns about 3.5 long very unusual were was this one

i took the other one out of a roof in the city it was a well fed specimen plenty of bats n rats up there i reckon nice pic by the way

They're both normal, one is darker. They can get very dark in winter.

true ? so is it common for them to darken up like this water rat so what i found would have just been common just colour change if it was the same as the photo?

I thought my eyes were playin tricks with me,i thought there were two..Same applies to carpets around here,during summer their bright colourful,then at winter dark doul looking...Im with Slimebo on this,a 20foot black python will be better than a white one...lol....

if you do a search on " lavender retics", you will find plenty out there, living in "them thar lavendar trees".might be evolution.
