A little while ago I finally acquired a little 12 month old EWD,
I named him Fred,

Hi Fred!

Poor Fred had to spend the winter in a 1200x600x600 with just a small tub of water
while I got his Summer Home ready!

Just a few weeks later my Mother had decided to downsize her bird collection into a smaller aviary... So I convinced her to let me have the old aviary!
I dug about a foot deep around the perimeter and stood pavers on their ends so that he couldn't dig out, then just to be sure, I placed some nice big square pavers around so he definitely couldn't dig out! I dug a nice big hole to burry a big storage tub for his pond.
With the help from a guy at work, who was cleaning up his yard, I acquired some awesome logs!
And then I added a few rocks and plants...

At first he seemed a bit hesitant of his new home and barely made an appearance for the first few weeks, I got a bit worried...

Though, now that he has been in his new home for a while, he seems to be a rather happy Dragon!

How handsome my little Fred has become!

Great looking markings on Fred.
How big is he?
Mine also give me dirty looks when the bowl only has vegies!

what a looker. woot woo

also how does he handle? are those scratches from fred?

Yep, they're from him. He's not aggressive... Just doesn't like being restrained lol. Catching him requires a swift crash tackle and well placed hands around his shoulders and hips where he can't scratch or bite.

We have a relationship based on respect (food), he'll come up to me if I have food and won't attack me if I don't grab him lol. It's all on his terms!

lol mine are the same, always ends in a battle in the water tank. lol one of mine is getting better but wesker just doesnt like being picked up. haha

so glad to see he is doing well. peanut has moved outside aswell now. both lucky dragons
