IN THE WILD. they have a short lifespan or around 3 yrs.
in captivity 8-10+ who knows. it depends on the care you give them, they are profound breeders and at 8 yrs old they still give out clutches in multiples. its hard to get them to stop. if you keep up and replenish them before during and after breeding, there is no reason not to have another season, or year. it depends on you as the keeper.
