hey guys,
just want to show you my latest addition. i got this 2 year old pair of high yellow diamond pythons from doilittle farm (steve) at the homebush expo (which i thought was great). They did cost alot but they are stunning in my eyes. i got to hold them to see how they were and they were amazingly placid. and they are very curious. they are in a 1 metre high by 60 by 60 cm glass enclosure. They live together and have been doing very well together since babies. Great handlers aswell.
the female has stripes on the side of her bodies while the male doesn't. Funny that 20 mins after i got them, someone else wanted to get them off dolittle. luckily i got them though. They were chosen for high canary yellow colour and evenly spread rosettes and were holdbacks due to their beauty. but overall, i am very happy with them and i will be looking into breeding them in a couple of years as they are now 2.
one question, do i need uv light, i was told that i can just take them out into the sun for like 1 hour a week as this is best for them. and also he said its ok if i put them in a room with sunlight but the temps must stay below 31 degrees. is this all right???
here are some photos of them. will try get some in the sunlight as they really go very high coloured.
