Nice Joe, what if she nicks this one off you?
Hey........ that would mean you could get another one : )

can't go wrong with jungles :) is she black and white ? or just coming up for shed

Hi Jarden, she is just coming up for shed. How long does shedding take once started and can they be handled during that time or NOT. Cheers Joe

When the eyes go milky the snake shouldn't be handled until it sheds, unless absolutely necessary. The skin becomes quite sensitive and the snake feels vulnerable during the shed (aka "slough"), and is more likely to bite out of defense. After the shed, check the snake to make sure all the skin has come off as retained shed can harbour bacteria, get nasty and effect future sloughs. Be especially attentive of the tip of the tail and the eyes. Shed usually takes around a week. The eyes will go milky, there will be a colour change (e.g. black parts going grey), then she'll clear up (black will go black again) and shed a couple days after that.

Also, nice jungle, she looks lovely and calm! Can't wait to see pics as she colours up!
