New member - new snake

Hi all

I have a large Carpet Python in my garage roller door. As I live in a Brisbane south western suburb bordering bushland we have several resident possums which have made the roller doors (hollow logs?) their home for many years. To avoid losing a possum, or possibly one of our cats, I would like to remove the python as humanely and as quickly as possible. Can anyone help?

I called snakecatchers, but they are either too far away or off duty. Please don't cry but my wife and I are pensioners with some health problems and the presence of the poor old snake is causing some stress right now. Any more suggestions?

I would start a new thread titled snake rescuer needed immediately & that should get a few more responses. I'm sure there are quite a few APS members around Brisbane that would be able to point you in the right direction to someone that could relocate him safely for you.Goodluck
