Checked in on the eggs at around 8am this morning, saw nothing interesting. Checked again around midday and noticed they were sweating quite visibly. Now, at around 3pm, they've both pipped.

It's perlite. This year we used dry perlite over 60:40 vermiculite for the pythons. I'd planned to do the same with these, but either ran out of vermiculite or couldn't find it. In the end, I just put them on 50:50 perlite with a dry layer over the top.

Oedura rhombifer are not common in captivity, dtulip, so that's probably why you're not familiar with them :)

Sweet good luck with them !!! Now the fun job of feeding those little guys. What was the incubation period ?
 
wow get these heps here i did not know thay were in captivity and yes hatchling can be tiny i seen some as small as about 2cm in lengh by the way are adults the smallest velvet in australia
