I know they come in many shades, most of the ones I see in the wild are very yellow like that pictured at the start of the thread. The really big ones tend to be a bit whiter, though not always.

You Herp in the Watagans then, do you

Closer to live in the Watagans or at least the base of them.Any Diamond at my house could rightfully be called a Watagan Diamond, and we get Diamonds at our house fairly often in spring. And yes I herp in the Watagans as well.

Well agnagle, you have about 150 confirmations over 3 pages that the snake is a Diamond python, plus some entertainment over language. You should be happy with that. :D

Why should I update my location? Lake Macquarie is close enough and more recognised than, base of watagan mountains, and pointing out my street, online..... You may see a problem there.

When asked for a location please do not be so specific say the Watagan range or just Watagan NP, there are heaps and heaps of trusty people on here but it is not like there is anything to stop people from signing up with the intention of poaching snakes illegally. Although the Watagans being close ish to Sydney is probably pretty well known by now, keep it in mind in future please.

Can I just say this is absolutley not my reason for asking where it was seen. Just that I love Diamonds and am really interested in learning more about different locality specific snakes. I`m also interested in the whole intergrade issue/debate and want to learn more about them as well.
