I've had a search through previous threads and had conflicting information and the EPA guidelines are fairly vague so I was wondering if someone here could tell me what type of QLD licence is required to get a Boiga irregularis (Brown Tree Snake)?

Thanks in advance

cheers,
I'm planning to get one in a couple months so if anyone has any book or article recommendations let us know.

This is a tricky subject, according to the code of practice you should have a restricted licence. Many keep them on recreational licences and as far as i know its accepted for less dangerous species. Maybe give them a call and see what they say...

From http://www.derm.qld.gov.au/register/p00061aa.pdf

Dangerous or venomous snakes may only be kept by experienced people who have been issued with the relevant authority to keep restricted species.
