Question about scale loss

Just wondering, BHP had a few small patches of Blister/scale rot. Vet gave me Silvazine cream for it. Now the blisters are dry scabs and look alot better, BUT the areas where I applied the cream have had most of the clear scale coverings come off. She shed just prior to the application of the cream and they are not old scales coming off but the new ones.
Can the daily application of silvazine cause this to happen? She is otherwise well and behaving normally.

did you find out what was causing this? how did you treat it? my diamond python is going through the same thing

After I applied the Silvazine, and the scales fell off, I just let it be, and after a few sheddings the scales have recovered back to their smooth condition.
