sexing coastal carpets

Hi all,
I bought a coastal carpet about a year ago, its about one year old now and I am trying to figure out what sex it is. I have heard that you can sex them by the spurs, its about 80cm long. How predictable is this method is probing the only reliable way?

Mate if you could post a pic of the tail end of it then we could give you a fairly good idea on the sex of it. You can tell by looking realisticall if you know what you are looking for.

Hey thanks for that. I have always been quite interested in sexing. I have one snake that i would love to know its sex as i believe its a he but the person i got it from also sexed a pair saying that they were both female then six months later we had about 15 babies :roll: So yeah.... Thanks
