Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone out there could tell me how often a beardie is supposed to shed his skin, or moult or slouth or whatever its called? I have two beardies, about 8 months old, and the male had a good shed about 2 weeks ago. I woke up this morning and he has got bits of skin hanging of him and there are bits of skin all over the enclosure. is this normal? Also is it normal for him to eat the bits of skin that fall off?
Thanks, Duffo.

Yep all normal. The rate at which a dragon sheds depends on how fast he grows. The more you feed him the more he grows :) Its also based on the individual, some grow faster than other.
