Nah mate, we just had to toughen up and take the bites so we could get the shot 
Seriously though, we had a prosthetic body that we used. It was worth about $20,000 and looked and felt real, as well as weighing the same as a human body would. This didn't work in my favour when I walked out of the studio with it in a surfboard bag, flopped it in the back of the ute while parked illegally and then looked up to see a shocked policewoman wondering if she really saw what just happened.
I'll see if I can find a photo of it.
