ppl still scared of em lol :p

Cool vid Tassie,:)
i had to go and get another bluetongue today,
it was in the vegi garden of a house in Mornington.
They wanted it moved because their dog was going nuts and would have killed it.
I have also been called to remove fence skinks that were eating black ants on a paling fence in Doveton,
near Dandenong.
The guy was Indian and it surprised me that he was so scared of the little lizards.
Needless to say i didnt go to that one,and tried to put his mind at ease over the phone, lol.

I got called for a snake once, to get and there and find there was already another rescuer there and we had no hope in hell of finding it through the rubbish pile, so I pulled out my trusty iPhone and showed them a pic and guess what they picked it as a bluetongue straight away.

When they say "it was as thick as my forearm" it's sometimes an indication it's going to be a bluie.
Ive never bumped into another snake catcher at a callout.
That would be funny.
