Strange looking scales on my MD

Hey guys, So i had my MD out and about on my arms tonight and noticed he has a weird black scale in the middle of his head, and a couple of darker looking scales towards his nose; it almost looks like he's been burnt but i dont see how that could have happened as ive taken precautions to prevent just that. Anyway, im a little worried and was hoping i could get some opinions on the pictures attached. Thanks in advance.

just thought i'd add he's acting completely normal, no weird behavior whatsoever.

One of my jungles had something like this when he was small, it went after a shed. I wouldn't worry about it.

Good to know its not something major to worry about, I haven't had him long so im still a bit over protective. Thanks for the help guys!
