Here's a few photo's for those that have been waiting for these....
The first Platinum Mac's are beginning to hatch.
You can imagine the smile; when the second one out; is lighter then any I've ever seen....
I had one hatch a few seasons ago that was almost white without patten; however it was weak
and died not long after.....this one however; is a killer.... lol
Going on other lighter ones produced in the past; I think this one will colour up really yellow as it ages.
I parted with some really nice light ones last season...and would really like to see how some of these
turned out...anyone?
A few more clutch's left to hatch; so here's hoping for a few more light ones :D

Hi Tree!
They're amazing!! The first picture looks like it could've ended in some fun if they'd been a bit narky!
Well done on them. Very impressive!!

You're not wrong Den, they are the best I have ever seen.

YAY! :D Just the news I've been waiting for! Congratulations Indicus, they look stunning!

They are unreal. Best mac's I have ever seen

thats crazy, i've never seen that before,

how long is the waiting list to get one of these off you?
if i put my hand up now i guess i'd be person 5, 692 in the line..

WOW, gorgeous hatchies! Must say that my favourites are the darker two in the first picture.. gorgeous! I didnt even know platinum macs existed, how much do guys like these normally go for, if you dont mind me asking? just the average price?

Wow!!!...thanks for the kind comments all :oops:
Hopefully their should be a few more odd ones to come....
It's always interesting to see what the ratio is....last season;
it worked out to about half; that ended up with a reduced patten.
The ones that appear pinkish from the start; tend to be the ones that
later look more yellowish as they age.
We have not line bred the lights ones yet (never any left for me :( )
However we look forward to seeing what some will produce from those juv's sold last season.
We sell these guy's for around $300....orders are quite full from last season;
but without counting eggs before they hatch; there maybe a few left over ;)

I'm looking forward to mine from 2 seasons ago hopefully going this season.
