Gday all,

I'm Sye and im relatively new to the herp ownership game. Had a fair bit of experience helping my uncle with his snakes/lizards/turtles whilst almost living at his house for the last 13 years. I joined up to learn a tonne of stuff, because theres no such thing as knowing enough in my experience and theres no better way to learn than to ask those who have been there before. I also hope my experiences can point others in the right direction, limited though they may be. Will most likely be bothering you for years to come as i expand my herp collection (I pick up number 2 on Monday hopefully)

I have a jungle carpet python and am picking up my blue phase tree snake on monday. although ive gone in and visited it enough that it may aswell be living with me. pics of it have actually been posted by a bloke on this site called dottyback under the heading blue tree snake with pics. beautiful colouring. had experience with breeding diamonds which i heard is an easy one to do, but i thought id give tree snakes a shot because they seem to be in low supply and they vary so much in colours.

p.s. its like the beginning of psychic, science or silo

Thanks for the welcome everyone! definately will be posting some more pics of my babies and other snakes and herps i have fallen in love with over the years, just setting up her enclosure today. I actually went to the pet store today and took some photos and had a look at the 4 gold phase GTS there aswell and one is top notch. basically all the photos i have of snakes are whilst they are being handled by myself as i am a terrible serial handler, hope u dont mind seein my ugly mug or hands too often.

Haha. Yeah I noticed that the Victorians are few and far between. Oh and hooglabah, thats one hell of a list that you have going there but you forgot to put capital letters at the beginning of new sentences... Just a thought
Oh and what about hybrids that MAY possibly exist in the wild? different species of dendralaphis or morelia for example that live in very close habitats? or the aspidites who's habitats overlap?
