Tank size for jungle

Looking at buying a jungle carpet eventually and just wanted to know what I shoukd be expecting to buy for houseing I live in a apartment and there isnt alot of room. I read somewhere 50-75 gallon. That seems damn big. But id like your guys opinion. Also how old would they need to be when I shoukd stick them in a large enclosure. Thanks alot all.
 
A 2x2x4 (LxDxH or DxHxL)would suit most jungle, a 3x2x4 would be better again for any over 6ft. Most seem to enjoy climbing.

Seems a bit small for 6ft. o_O but thanks for your info :D

A 75 gallon (4x1.5x1.9) you say is too big but say a 2x2x4 is too small...

A 4x2x2 is enough whichever way you chose to configure it.

ok sorry im doing thinking the meadurements wrong. I dident have a tape so u was just trying to imagine.q
