Such as user name contact details , state and still keep some provision to adjust price and quantity.

Or just make a rule to entirely ban anyone posting in anyone elses for sale thread.

You'll get the odd idiot who just can't help themselves or maybe a newbie that doesn't read the rules, but whats a few more posts to delete, hey mods?

Alternatively you could get a senior member added as a mod with rights just to delete unwanted posts just in the For Sale section.

Back to the original idea is it possible to have forum display inside a forum display ?

That way you can click on For Sale then click on your State and look for ads in you state instead of opening every post to see if any are close to you, Maybe even have an all states one ?
