There are a few centuries in that root. I wouldn't dream of parting with it! It was a gift from the gods/ dieties/ dreaming.

That would sell for considerable money in Melbourne Steve. I've bought mangrove root not half as good as that for reasonable coin.

Come and visit cobber, Darwin has the second highest diverity of mangroves in the country and I can show you all of them. I suggest you bring a ute because you will want to keep some!

The fossil pollen evidence suggests that many (they come from several families of plants) mangroves evolved on the north coast of Oz and spread from here.

I'm spoilt , my Brother lives in country NSW . When he comes for a visit he sometimes brings hollow logs etc , I even have spares around the place now . He doesnt mind as I have given him a few free snakes .
