Hi everyone. My name is Lisa and I'm 42 and live in Sydney. My son is turning 11 soon and I've promised him a childrens python for this birthday. He has been a passionate lover of snakes and reptiles from a very young age, and watches the documentaries on Foxtel and has a very good knowledge on snakes.

He has begged me for a snake now for many years, and finally i have agreed to get him one. If anyone can put me in contact with a breeder and/or give me the name of a good Children's Python book which helps in the care of the snake would be useful.

Also, are their field trips/excursions which are planned on a regular basis.

i just brought my daughter a childrens python for her first snake, she is 5. but i have quite a lot of reptiles so she is use to em.
i brought hers from www.ultimatereptiles.com.au
$185 plus $50 freight. they are in SA. hav a look at the site, i think there are about 3 for sale still.
