Just to complete my nostalgic drivel. My Grand dad worked at Abbots Brewery.
I have a suspicion that Abbots bitter became VB when Carlton took them over.

he looked happy in his new home to,,like i said ,he had a feed ,and a bath,got some old skin off him,bit of oil of ulan,lol
it was cold this morning,but it warmed up nicely for him in the afternoon,,,should be snug as a bug by now,,
