I make up a turtle dinner that is very popular with our guys. They literally come bounding out of the water to get it which is quite amusing really as they have to get back in the water to actually eat it. (And I always serve it in the water anyway.)
I consists of white bait, roo mince, Rep-Cal Calcium and Herp-t-vite (sp??), lamb heart and marinara mix set in gellatine. I set it in take away food containers and cut it into cubes which I freeze separately (so they do not stiick together) and when frozen store them in an ice cream container.
I used to thaw them before serving but found that a waste of time. The ELN's have more fun with it frozen.... it would be thawing pretty quickly in the water anyway. Because it is in gellatine it does not make any mess to foul the water.
