Hi,

I'm a little confused with which are the predatory mites you get to control reptile mites. A few threads have suggested Hypoasis mites, but these are written up as eating gnats and fungi, where as the Typhlodromus mites prey on other mites. I"m putting in my order for some tomorrow, so can anyone help with which ones I should get?

Thanks in Advance

Sorry to hijack.
But with these predatory mites, is it worth it to have them in the enclosure as a sought of "quarterly" routine????

Cheers, Alan.

Hi,

Thanks Jonno for that, appreciate it.

TS - My lizards were previously kept outside, so they would have mites, and I have TODed them numerous times, and due to their numbers and thick overset scales, I don't think it's been very effective, so I'm giving these mites a whirl. My husband is also very insistant I get them out of quarantine (our dining room, LOL, ), as they have been there for so long now.

Thanks for that !!
