Hey all

im new to herptology and have a yearling diamond and im wondering what vitamins/suppliments i should be giving and how often
and also wondering how often i should be worming or what i have to look for to know when to worm my little baby.
and where to purchase anything needed

thanx in advance for all replies
cheers dave

Snakes should get all their vitamins from the prey item,ie: rats, mice, birds etc.

As for worming, if you are buying your feed from a reliable or reputable source that has had the food frozen for a while you shouldn't need to worm it.If you suspect it has worms, you should take it to the vet, and have them do a swab and go from there.

worming

thank you for your reply
i thought through my hospitality health and saftey training that if frozen this would be the case but just thought would check with other keepers to see if this was the case with herps too

again thank you for reply
