Ahh ummm..... a bit of Christian rock like Stryper always gets me off, I also can't help but burst into song when in the shower singing John Denver's Rocky Mountain High!! Phew.....PUMPIN' :twisted:

I liked slipknots latest album (Vol. 3: the subliminal verses), lost and found by mudvayne is a good album, system of a down are okay, but prefer toxicity over their other albums, arctic monkeys, rage against the machine, audioslave, blink182, disturbed, foo fighters, grinspoon, korn, linkin park, chili peppers, wolfmother, yellowcard.

i like abit of rock music, mostly into that middle ground where metal meats hardcore punk, good music coming out of that scene. that said i loath all emos, and the trend suckers who follow. punk rock cant miss. and ofcourse everyone loves the oldies.

Moved on to Psy-trance and Acid techno(Tsyoshi Suzuki, Infected Mushroom, Psycraft etc), now i just love my break beats and progressive house ( i hope no-one crucifies me for using the loose-end term progressive house but how else can you explain the awesome sounds of John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren, Eric Morillo, Darren Emerson, Danny Tenaglia, Anthony Pappa, Danny Howells, Carl Cox etc). But generally i listen to anything that sounds ok (i like most decent guitar music too as i play guitar myself)

i dont mind anything as long as its not country and western and dont really like this new age of rap pooh(there think that about covers it)
i like and was bought up with acdc, iron maiden, rose tattoo so on and so on and still are amongst my favourite bands

i have over 5000 songs saved on my computer it all really comes down to my mood at the time the music comes on

Any music from classical, 70's 80's 90's etc etc.

But metal is the best by far in our household. Bands such as Anarion (from Broady in Vic), Maladiction (Vic), Disturbed, Godsmack, Korn. Anything that is loud. Nothing like getting the guitar out and cranking up the amp as well. Lucky we don't have neighbours. The kids love the music that I like (luckily for them).

Old School Punk... Especially Dead Kennedys, The Exploited, The Clash, GBH, The Pogues and other newer bands like Against ME!, Clutch, QOTSA, Frenzal Rhomb.. Through in a bit of Metallica & Old Nirvana stuff... and some older Aussie Stuff like The Angles, The Saints etc and you've got me covered pretty much

Damn Chanty you gotta come see my band play, Original punk band SONIC PORNO playing this sweekend at Redcliffe, then evry fortnight afterwards.....a sound like Nirvana, voice like CLutch and lyrical content like QOTSA......great selection indeed.....

Sounds exactly like my house....umm with the exception that Korn has been banned by the BHB. Noooo Korn here. But thankfully for the kids they love Satyricon and Rammstein just as much as they love the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Hi 5 (now THERE'S a combination for you :wink: ) Long and short of it is we listen to anything at anytime.

Very much a mood thing I find, I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite genre much less a favourite band. Kris on the other hand likes anything that sounds like someone is either dying or speaking from the grave. So needless to say the car is a strictly metal zone. At the moment it's mainly Fear Factory, Machine Head, Devil Driver, Slipknot, Mushroomhead blah blah blah. One of these days I'll slip in a VNV Nation and see if he notices.... 8) The neighbours love it when Kris has a 6am start and the cd player kicks in as soon as he starts the car :lol:
