Hey,
for the last month/2 months, my eastern water dragon has not come out from underneath his log. I have been checking on him but am not sure if i should just leave him. The thing is he hasn't been comoing out for food, the heat lamp or i havn't seen him swimming for the lats month! is it just winter inactivity? I have been lifting up the log to feed him but he is still very fat even though he hasn't tried to or even look for crickets for lenghty perods like a week. This behaviour is very weird for him but i have been trying to feed him although he is still average weight. Does anyone know why? sorry if this is a stupid question because he is my first rep.

Hey.
They are usually not very active in winter, dont be worried of he hasnt put on much wieght for the last 2 months

my mate has a water dragon and for about two months he gose off food and in winter it just looks dead and wont move a muscle but as soon as it starts getting warmer he springs into life and eats like a boss! i dont know much about water dragons but maybe if you raise the ambient/room temperature he might snap out of the hibernation instinct

Mine hasn't had a good feed in over a month, he's just not interested.
Sleeps in a bit, but very active once he gets going.
