I have always wanted one but haven't been able to find the 'right one' or I have but I haven't had an enclosure ready. I now have an enclosure ready for my next snake & a Water Python has become available, however I'm not sure if this particular enclosure will suit. It's about 900w x 1000h x 500d, IMO it would really suit an arboreal python (it has branches etc). Would a WP make use of the available height, do they climb at all? Would this size enclosure suit it for it's life or do I search for another python?

i have a wp in an enc 3ft wide 5ft high 2 1/2 deep.... he makes very good use of the whole enc. plenty of branches and a big water bowl... hes very happy.

The one at Melbourne aquarium is in an arboreal cage dunno if that helps :D

They are very nice I plan on getting one for my second snake. Bout all I've found is this post, most sites don't have much on them although I am still researching.

Cheers mate, I'll have a read, I obviously didn't search hard enough.

That's what I was after, thanks.

My Water is in a 3x2x2. They are more of a terrestrial snake, but some extra height couldnt hurt.
