What snake is this?

Hi all,

Sadly we found this guy on the road outside our house tonight and he had been hit in a number of spots by a car
Any idea what he is? i was thinking brown tree snake?
its such a shame as i reckon he would have been 1.5m in length and an otheriwse healthy looking snake
