I see! I didn't even notice there was a frog pic in there.

Stewart

You will give it a complex mate! :lol:They are an endemic species which has a range less then 10 km square!

The Eulamprus on the tree is is E . tigrinus. Any takers on the other:)

Cheers,

Nick

Is the BHP in one of your pics a wild one Viridis?

They are all wild animals except the head shot of the Jungle in the very first post. I did not know how to delete it , as I posted it by accident.

That BHP is from near the Einasleigh river in the Northeastern interior of QLD.

This Ackie was very under nourished , possibly due to drought conditions in which it was found in, from a Place in the Kimberleys

The WA night Tiger pic gives you an idea on how thin they are! This animal was about 5 foot long and about the size of a 10 cent piece!

Cheers,

Nick

Diferent Black Mountain ;)

Nice shots Nick. How many km do you reckon you put in herping a year?

Yeah thanks Mags for driving us for what seemed like a trip back to Sydney.

Well when i was awake anyway, tip next time. Don't have late nights before herping... one less set of eyes open.

I am extremely happy that we got a BTS, scrubby and a macleays'.

Thanks Magpie,

Last years trip we did approx 22 000 kms in the 6 months we were away, but on a more normal scale probably about 500 - 1000 per week?

Any excuse to get away from the rat race of everyday monotonous life, plus you get to see a lot of weird and wonderful things ( usually with out a camera handy).

Nick
