How commonly are they seen in the wild? What are the populations like in the wild?
 
Awsome Would love to see one in the wild, maybe at the end of the year.........
 
Now THAT is such a awesome snake,i couldnt imagine ppl coming across them too frequently.They camouflage so well..the majority of the time they would be high up in a tree...
 
That's something special. Love the dorsal spotting, what an awesome animal.
 
Ah, good old APS, a photo of a nice snake brings out the accussations of poaching and photoshopping :)

The guy in the photo is a Cape York local...

Great looking snake jonno thanks for posting,i caught a pair like that mating in a clearing last year,i was putting them in my bag when a helicopter appeared over head with wildlife rangers coming down ropes,i fought them off there was hundred by this time,punched one right out sending him back to warratah park and his kangaroo,then i woke up .
