Yellow Faced Whip Snake

My husband found this Yellow faced Whip snake under the catcher of his mower.

He was lucky he wasn't bitten as the grass was a bit long.

Funnily enough I did this exact same thing with my next door neighbors kitten! Damned if I can find the photos to post though! :lol:

I think the point is this is a forum for people who like snakes not kill them for being in their backyard imo

k2011 i wouldn't be too concerned about the snake now but
just like spitting cobras ! yellow faced whip snakes spit venom into your eyes ...i hope he was wearing eye protection at the time...maybe he should get his eyes checked just in case:shock:
