Anyone see it?
I like to ride a pushy myself but I was always taught to not be in the way in the first place and therefore I am not one of the problems that were shown tonight. There are too many lycra loving idiots out on the road already without me adding to the mess. I took offence to Liz Hayes implying that the reason we don't like cyclists is because in peak hour traffic they can wizz between lanes - who really gives a crap? Unless they wizz between lanes and then wait in the lane right in front of me I couldn't care less.
I can't stand cyclists and the story did nothing but make me think even less of them. I live in Brisbane and I was shocked to hear that there is a monthly "disruption ride" complete with police escort across the Sydney harbour bridge in peak hour - I guess you Sydneysiders are already endeared to this "event". If I'm there next time its on I'll be an innocent pedestrian with a back pack full tacks that will mince bike tyres while leaving car tyres alone.
Any cyclists on here care to speak up or any other paying road user that feels the same?
