That's terrible news if it's true. Always enjoyed his docos (the fact he went fishing a lot helped) & adventures in his tinny with his cattle dog

How sad :( just last week I was watching his vids on YouTube and contemplating visiting the park for the first time..!

R.I.P - My condolences go out to all of his family and friends.

A little bit of sensitivity would go long way Gordo.
Matter of fact statements sometimes fly into one's face, especially when it comes from a 25 year-old.

He was pretty old, didn't have a bad run of it.

Anyone know how old he was?

Yes he was old and had a good run, but he didn't die of natural causes. Bad way to die, especially at an old age.

Sorry Michael wasn't trying to come off as insensitive. I grew up watching his docos, he and Harry Butler were probably my two biggest influences to have me turning out the way i have in regard to wildlife.

What i meant was that he had a long and assumably a fulfilling life and atleast in my mind i can think of a great great many ways to go that would have been far worse for him. Celebrate what was and what he had, look at the positives of his life (And yes i do think growing old is a positive lol).

How sad! RIP Malcolm.
I loved watching his docos.

He was only 69, not 'old' as such.

thats sad.. great doco's.. a mate used to work at a croc farm he owned, i was always jealous he(my mate) worked there & not me..lol..

R.I.P Malcolm, I loved watching your Doco's and simple take on life.

That's an impressive resume. Thanks for putting it up. He was a genuine, unassuming bloke, it's sad to see him gone.

Very sad, i loved his docco's, and for some reason the unusual music that played on them.

Sorry to hear about the death of Macolm Douglas,he was a genuine bloke and it came across in his work.

Very sad to hear. I too enjoy his documentaries. We used to sit down as a family when i was a child and watch them. Dad was always looking in the TV guide for when he was on.
