just added this to my collection today,,
nice looking little snake..
mother is bredli and father is coastal..

how do you think the offspring will turn out with crossing it with another bredli and trying to wean out the coastal in it..

has light orange through it but coastal in colour,,has the smaller head scales like a bredli, bredli patterns,,

so now i might have to get rid of my imbricata to get a female bredli(getting to many carpets)

I think you should cross it with a jungle to put some nice colour in it . You would be able to get top dollar for something like that . Good luck . LOL

cool!! do you mind me asking what kind of price they are for a cross?

about double what they normaly go for . They are fairly rare .

i was thinking maybe 10x the amount but i could be wrong. a mate bought one for $100 that size a couple of weeks ago

maybe they are not that rare after all . I didn't realize that there was so many IDIOTS breeding crosses like that . Learn something new every day , i suppose .

its not so much locality , do you think that crossing a blackhead with a woma is ok ? This is why it will become harder to buy pure snakes when this sort of thing is around !

Hybrids arent worth much, Tribrids are the way of the future!! they are top end hybrids in USA, but what would i know im just a dumb Aussie!!....lol

so what you saying,,
i shouls cross it with a jungle or maybe my imbricata?

Well he is very pretty najanaja but unfortunately hybrids won't fetch you much $$.I paid $120 for my hybrid before I knew better:lol: & that is a diamond x bredli, but I also have to say he was worth it as he is growing up lovely but I definately wouldn't breed him. If you want a pure coastal you would be better off buying one, I don't think you could breed the bredli or coastal out of him now, well not for a few generations at least

yeah cross it with a jungle or a darwin would love to see what they come out like

Yeah , muddle up the gene pool just that little bit more . At least you can say that you played some part in breeding of hybrid stuff . Good luck .
