lol would you still charge for the call out?? what a waste of your time.
 
If you lived in or around Loyang in Victoria i could understand, i have seen worms down there that were 2ft long and as thick as your thumb, startled the crap outa me the first time i seen 1 when i was changing a tyre on the truck in the rain, at first i thought someone was pulling a prank but no....it was for real :) ...............................Ron
 
Good god, what a dangerous call. It's a wonder you escaped from it alive. ;)
 
I suppose the client wanted yo worm their way out of paying...

With private customers I charge the same regardless of if the number of snakes found and the charge is dependant on the distance traveled and time of callout!
However even if I didn't charge, the amount of chuckling this callout produced would mean it wasn't a waste of time.
And even without the obvious financial incentive I would greatly prefer a person mistake a worm for a brown snake rather than the other way around.
