I've been doing some bird shots and got one of the hardest to find Queensland birds, this is only the third I have ever seen.
I won't bother naming it so I can enjoy the wild guesses that will surely sprout forth, though I'm certain someone will ID it correctly (Hint: It is neither a Keelback nor an African Speckled Hunting Budgie).
I've also chucked in a couple of other species I've photographed recently.

Noice

Beach thick-knee, Pardolote (?), Spangled Drongo, Brahminy Kite.

I take it that last photo isn't your standard street light pole fuscus:)

They're all common as around Darwin. We have a beautiful spot at West Alligator Head where we watch the Brahminys and Sea Eagles hammering the pop eye mullet from above and barra and threadfin from below. And a 3 meter saltie just floats through snapping them up. Good job they travel in thousands!
