bearded dragon eating shed???

So i came home about 3 hours ago and my pygmy beardie was shedding, so i gave him a little warm bath, then fed him, them left him alone for a bit. i came back and i saw him chasing after some of his shed and he ate it! Will this effect him in anyway? is it normal?

its quite normal. They often eat their shed. Nothing of concern.

Not sure about the pygmy bearded dragon but with my central bearded dragon I do not bath him when he starts to shed. They usually come off in bits and pieces but always fully come off.

it's a good idea to give them a bath so all the little bits come off especially tail tips and toes
