Hi Daniel, Since Jungle Pythons are arboreal and like to climb, the smaller enclosure would be fine for now with the branches, but when she gets bigger, perhaps switch to a taller one for her. And please post a pic of the little sweetie when you get her :)

NO WAY! An adult would be squished in there!!!!! It is fine for a 9 month old but not an Adult!!!! I have a yearling in a 100cmx40.5cmx58cm enclosure. Adults I would put in a 6ftx2ftx2ft enclosure.

Thanks Xeaal and will do!

If you want to get a enclosure like I have (for yearlings) they are at Cheap as Chips for $149 ;) (Mods if this is illegal I'll edit out, just let me know ;))

Ozmid- stunning Jungle and very nice enclosures

Ahk!, do you suggest I get this snake or should I get a different snake as I'm a beginner though have always had a passion for snakes and owned several bear dies myself

Who sells them for $149 mate been looking and looking but haven't found one yet

I wouldn't suggest a jungle as a begainner snake ad they can be very temptrimental I'd suggest a lovely bredli or spotted python although my first was a bredli an was the spawn of Satan so a jungle was obviosuly my second snake lol but with alot of love you can get them use to being handled with minimal to no bites

I forgot to add that most if not all hatchies are nippy though due to there fight or flight instinct but in saying that it also comes down to the individual snake.good luck in choosing take your time and please keep us posted!

My male jungle is has only bitten me once, and it was completely my fault...I was half tanked and stuck my hand in his enclosure and startled him! Hahaha in all honesty I've seen no difference in temperament between my coastal, albino Darwin or jungle. I may be just lucky, but my little brothers jungle is a puppy dog too, so I say go for the jungle...they're amazing creatures!

Try amazing amazon, I have had no problems with them before and as far as I know they don't sell heat rocks and are a specialist store as n they don't sell kittens or dogs. I completely trust them even though they are a pet store. As far as private breeders go I don't know any sorry.

You are very welcome :D I'd go for the jungle. Mine has only bit me once and that was because I held her while she wasin shed (fogged eyes, couldn't see properly) and I have had her since she was a hatchie :D

If you want a smaller species, spotteds are really nice ;)

Thanks for your help guys :)
They all learn to tolerate your handling but given the wrong envioroment u WILL get Tagged........My Bredli has never bitten but come night fall i dont go anywhere neer her or me jungle ...they go into phsyco food mode.....come morn they just pups..in general i would always tell a begginer to get a stimi as spotteds can even be temperamental tho not alot in it....JUNGLES...well not many snappy ones about these days so try to get a good looking one so if its snappy at least u can breed from it lol.....THE FACT THAT THE SNAKE JUST BIT U HURTS MORE THAN THE FACT IT DID BITE U AND IT REALLY DIDNT HURT....(Called FRIGHT)
