Wel, I will use up what is in the freezer (only about 3 now I think), and look at getting something else maybe

Have always used the guide of approx 8 weeks between sheds for juvies. Start on appropriately sized mice (fresh killed & frozen) & introduce the odd rat, again of appropriate size (fresh killed & frozen) & then progress to rats only - no problems to date & wouldn't expect any (an occassional pro-active worming just in case). Fresh killed & frozen or rats & mice - just helps widen your feeding options ie breed my own feed but need to resort to frozen occassionally (my own or bought) or run short on rats & need to fall back onto mice as a temporary measure. Just my two bobs worth!
