Thats what I meant by pythons and elapids are the same...

This I think is a KEY POINT with reptiles, especially elapids. Respect and understand your animals. Appreciate their beauty and remember that they HAVE the power. I love elapids but am always cautious in their presents. One millisecond of cockiness or loss of concentration, even after 10 years of free handling, they will show you why they are the boss. And it will be in the back of your mind from that day forth. JMO
