hi i like in queensland and hold a standard snake reptile licence, im looking to purchase a monitor but just read a thread on this site about needing a specialised licence what do i need to own a monitor cheers,

i think you need a class 2 licence not sure...

i have a ridge tail monitor on a rec licence, im not sure about bigger monitors but. hope this helps

I have a lace monitor I live in brisbane a standard wild life licence all you need in qld class 2 is required if living in nsw

In Qld you can keep all legally available monitors on the standard recreational licence.
