I dont keep colletts but they are beautiful snakes. Look forward to seeing some photos. I keep a few red bellies they are my favourite elapid.
They are stunningHere you go Miss Moon. I was just reading Sarah's post about her woma; this guy used to wiggle his tail tip (very woma-like) when food was about and chow down on his tail for 30secs if I was a bit slow with the feeding! Are you looking at getting a Collett's? Very nice elapidsIMO.
Thanks every-one for sharing your picturesThey are all beautiful specimens, I hope one day in the future I can add my own pics
(lol big ambitions for a Coastal/Jungle owner
)
Hmmmm would explain why I got "attacked" AFTER I put Pandora(jungle)back in her house ROFLNot really, Crystal, more chance of a bite from your Jungle than any RBB/ Colletts IMO. Everyone knows elapids are smarter than your average Jungle!
... apologies to those who have seen them already
they are gorgeous, thanks for posting the picsJuvenile Colletts and Mum.
why is it from my point elapids seem calmer or is it still luck of the draw as i dont think it's as easy as holding it and see if it likes it.
they are gorgeous, thanks for posting the picssuch beautiful colouring
They have such Beautiful colours and markings, I would have these over an albino, GTP any day.... Oh wait, I want those too lol I want my Collett and RBB firstYou are welcome and I have to admit they are one of my favourite snakes too. Not that i would recommend freehandling ANY venomous snake but mum was the most placid layed back snake and was easy to handle, oh and its one of her offspring in my avatar too![]()
