first land mullet of this season. Unfortunately he was deep in the lantana so this was the best shot I could get.

Was expecting to see some bogan, now i'm disappointed.
Once in season they are both common and easy to photo, in fact often to photo one you have to push two out of the wayPretty good shot considering its wild fuscus,ive got one of Bob Whitheys out the back and i onley just get a glance now and then,like owning a mirage.

Land Mullets Egernia major are the largest skink in Australia. They average about twice the size of a bluey and are found in the mountain regions of SE QLD. they tend to "sleep-in" and don't emerge until late October
