Hi there everyone,

I have been looking to buy a snake now for some time, a year or more, and I have two young children... a girl 4 and a young 1 year old boy. My daughter has held a baby Black-headed python, and she loves lizards too. I am interested in a Black-headed python, however the mature size of 9-12 feet is a bit interesting to think about dealing with. Could anyone please provide me with some info on what I should consider when looking to purchase one and what breed of snake would be best/more appropriate. Also, is it better to just have a bearded dragon or lizard?

Thanks, Vahryk :)
